This one is a true hidden gem. Hidden in a small alley not far from Ewha Women’s University, this restaurant offers a great variety of Japanese Ramen. With 8 different options, each ramen soup is packed with flavor, silky noodles, succulent slices of pork belly as well as some veggies. As a little appetizer you are also served some radish and delicious chives in a sweet soy sauce.

Our personal favorites are the Tonkotsu and Miso ramen but there are plenty more options we are dying to go back for. Prices range from 7000 KRW to 9000 KRW. You can also order an egg for your ramen for about 1000 KRW, extra slices of pork for 4000 KRW as well as a cup of rice for 2000 KRW. There is also a salad option in the menu for those looking to stay on the healthier side.

This restaurant is often full and seems to be a favorite spot among locals who enjoy slurping away a delicious bowl of ramen. Hidden in a little alley it might be a bit hard to find but worth the hunt.

It can be found on:

7 Ewhayeodae 5-gil, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul. Take Line 2 (green line) and get off at Ewha Woman’s University, exit 2, and walk straight until you see the Etude shop, then turn left and turn left again at the first alley.
