Mongolia is known for its beautiful nature where you can visit the Gobi desert and Altai mountains. In addition to that, you can always visit Ulaanbator, the capital, to experience modern Mongolian ways of living.
A famous site to visit is the large statue of Genghis Khan, the founder of the Mongol Empire, one of the largest of its kind at the time. The statue is gigantic in is located on the outskirts of Ulaanbator city.

Visithing Mongolia would be intriguing as it is rather exotic and not that common palce for students staying in Korea. Tickets there are not the cheapest, setting you back $500-700 for a round trip, but you'd definitely be doing something new and different.

One of the must do things is visiting the Mongolian nomadic life, where you can stay with a family in the desert and this usually free. The nomads are accustomed to visitors, and are friedly and are keen on welcoming visitors into their homes. You can hike around and even go from Ger to Ger, meaning you can stay with a different nomad family on each day. A Ger is typical Mongolian tent in which the nomads live.

Whilst visitng Mongolian nomadic life remember to hike aroun, experience the Altai mountains and see all the untouched grounds filled with wild life. There is the option to ride famous Mongolian horses, or maybe even something more eccentric like a Yak.
